How can I fix the flickering and resolution issues of my dual monitor setup after a Windows update? I have a dual monitor setup with two 60Hz and 1920 x 1080 monitors connected to an NVIDIA Geforce RTX 3050 GPU. The problem started two months ago, after a Windows update and a restart. Since then, my second monitor's LED keeps flickering like it's in standby mode, and sometimes both monitors change resolutions randomly. The flickering occurs every 2-3 seconds, making it very annoying to use. I have tried the following troubleshooting steps, but none of them worked: - Replacing the cable - Reinstalling the monitor drivers - Testing with a different monitor - Selecting "second monitor only" with win p - Checking the power supply - Upgrading the GPU (from GTX 1650 to RTX 3050) - Reverting the Windows update and the NVIDIA driver updates - Checking the refresh rate and resolution settings My PC build is as follows: - Motherboard: ASRock B365M Pro4-F - CPU: Intel Core I5-9400F - Memory: 4 x 8GB DDR4 3200MHZ - GPU: NVIDIA Geforce RTX 3050, 8GB Vram - Storage: 2 SSD and 1 HDD - OS: Windows 10 (installed on an SSD) What could be the cause of this problem and how can I solve it? https://technsight.com/ |
